What IPVeya currently checks

IPVeya does not currently test connectivity, egress IP, or service availability for claude.com or claude.ai. A successful page load only shows that this browser request reached IPVeya.

The browser's WebRTC check is a separate observation of STUN candidates. It does not contact Claude domains and does not represent the network path used by Claude on the web, Claude Code, or the API.

When a connection fails

Record when it happened, which page or client was involved, the exact error, and the network in use. Then check the provider's status page. A browser CORS error means browser code was prevented from reading a cross-origin response; by itself, it does not show that the target service is unavailable.

For API requests, compare the status and error type with the API error documentation. Account eligibility, organization settings, and platform decisions can only be confirmed through the provider's own account interface or support channels.

Regions and eligibility

Policies can change. Consult Anthropic's current supported-regions policy and its effective date directly. An IP geolocation result is only a network-egress clue; it cannot establish a person's location, account eligibility, or organizational eligibility.
